Join the California Coastal Resilience Network as we host BCDC to learn about their recently released Adapting to Rising Tides (ART) Bay Area report. The ART Bay Area report (found here: http://www.adaptingtorisingtides.org/project/art-bay-area/) was released in early 2020 and is the first ever regional comparison in the Bay of the impacts of sea level rise on people, the environment, and the regional systems we rely on. This report provides a better understanding of where we are vulnerable and lays out a pathway to plan for the future. This webinar will focus on ART’s regional analysis, including the consequence indicators that measure quantifiable impacts around the region. Our presenters will be Jaclyn Mandoske and Samantha Cohen. Jaclyn joined the ART team in 2018 with experience in science writing, international marine conservation, local governments, and sustainability. She is passionate about facilitating collaboration and the transfer of knowledge across people and sectors for effective change. Samantha has been with the ART team since 2019, having previously worked on water resource management and sustainable infrastructure projects for engineering consulting firms. Her interests lay in building sustainable, resilient, and healthy cities.
